New Central Maintenance Workshop and Store for dewatering equipment

At the start of 2003 DIRK will open its new central maintenance workshop and store for dewatering equipment. The facility is located in Birkenhead and can handle maintenance work on several machines simultaneously. The stock area has been designed to hold the companies stock in spare parts for centrifuges, thickeners and chamber presses. Maintenance on stationary and mobile dewatering machines as well as on sludge stabilisation and disintegration equipment will be carried out at the workshop.

The opening of the new facility coincides with the purchase of several mobile centrifuges by the Group to increase the availability of dewatering machines for the UK market.
