On the annual meeting of the Fraunhofer Gesellschaft (one of Germany’s partly governmentally funded] leading research institutions, the Joseph von Fraunhofer Preis was awarded to Mrs. Dr. Ing. Hannelore Friedrich from Fraunhofer IKTS, Dresden, for her successful work in sewage sludge disintegration using Dr. Hielscher’s ultrasound technology. This award winning technology
is marketed by DIRK exclusively on behalf of IWE.Tec in the United
Kingdom, Eire and USA. Besides this DIRK is promoting the technology
in other parts of the world.
